PeerLadder is a funded peer-mentoring programme for digital Research Technical Professionals from underrepresented backgrounds who are ready to step into leadership. Applications for the 2026 cohort are open.

This is a structured, funded programme running from May 2026 to March 2027. Selected participants commit to:
All sessions are mandatory. The time commitment is modest – typically one to two hours per month outside of workshops – but the expectation is that participants show up consistently.
PeerLadder is a DisCouRSE initiative, delivered in partnership with OLS and supported by ELIXIR-UK. It is free to participants. All reasonable travel and accommodation costs for the in-person workshop are covered.
